Note: When I decided I wanted to make a strip themed around the election, I already knew what I had to do. The joke truly writes itself. I think this is the first strip that takes place at a defined location instead of a simple room with a table. I would like to keep experimenting with more unique settings for the characters to visit! Vote Sparky!

Transcript: Panel 1: Sparky the Eagle stands behind Rebekah in a line. Red, white and blue bunting hangs along the top of the panel. Three dots float over Sparky, who stares blankly ahead. Rebekah looks tired.
Rebekah: “It feels like we’ve been standing in line for YEARS…”
[Sigh, from Rebekah]
Panel 2: Sparky perks up, with an exclamation mark over his head. Rebekah looks at him, unimpressed.
Rebekah: “Who are you gonna vote for, Sparky?”
Panel 3: Sparky smiles proudly. Rebekah grimaces.
Sparky: “I’m simply going to vote for the candidate who is the most qualified leader!”
Panel 4: Sparky nods. Rebekah looks resigned.
Voice from off-panel: “NEXT TWO!”
Rebekah: “We’re FINALLY up. See you on the other side.”
[Nod nod, from Sparky]
Panel 5: Sparky is alone at a voting booth, tongue sticking out as he concentrates, with a pen in his wing and a paper in front of him. A red box labeled “VOTE!” sits beside him.
Sparky: “Hmm… the most qualified leader…”
Panel 6: Close-up of a ballot being fed into the slot of the red box by a wing. The ballot reads “BALLOT” with three names: “John Smith” and “Jane Doe,” both unchecked, and a handwritten “SPARKY!!” with a checked box. Written beneath it: “(the Eagle)” and “((really cool!))”.
